About The Band Time....... The present is richer when connected to the past. Generation Train invites its audience on a journey in time. Always in the pocket of the now while demonstrating a deep respect for the past, the band blends rhythmic styles from James Brown to John Mayer, and Stevie Wonder to Ben Harper. Great music happens live! A song, regardless of when it is written, needs to be given new life with each performance. This band does exactly that! Generation Train is a trip in time, musically connecting the past with the present. Come along for the ride! Band Members James (Jim) Gay – Vocals, Tenor Sax & Percussion Since the mid-1980s, Jim has thrived as a freelance saxophonist, performing across genres like jazz and pop at clubs, festivals, and studios, earning respect for his versatile and soulful style. https://www.jamesgaymusic.ca/ Jay Reed – Electric Guitar Since the mid-1990s, Jay has sustained a successful career as a professional musician, collaborating with diverse artists across genres, delivering memorable performances at venues from intimate clubs to major festivals, and contributing to numerous studio recordings with his versatile talent.
